10 best draft candidates for Eagles at No. 21 in 2020 following free agency
By Dan Parzych
Isn’t it ironic how the Eagles always seem to be in need of help at linebacker each offseason?
Unfortunately, this appears to be the case once again for 2020, and linebacker became even more of a need after Philadelphia decided to part ways with Nigel Bradham in February.
At the moment, the Eagles have a few candidates that seem capable of stepping up next season by taking on larger roles, but the team still needs to add another player or two before training camp.
Otherwise, next offseason is going to arrive, and Philadelphia will find themselves in the same position as now in which they are looking for additional help at linebacker.
After winning the National Championship in January, there’s a good chance that LSU will see numerous defenders hear their name called in the first round of this year’s draft, including Patrick Queen.
With Queen’s explosive style of play, this is another prospect who would most likely find a way to make an impact right away as a rookie if the Eagles were to present him with the proper opportunity.
For all Philadelphia knows, Queen could be the answer this team has been looking for all these years, and could help put the team in great position to extend their playoff streak to four years in a row.
