1. Rewatch Mark Wahlberg’s interpretation of Vince Papale in Invincible.

We all love our children, but let’s be honest. If you haven’t done so already, there will be moments where they make you feel like you want to lock yourself in the bathroom and hide, especially if you’re stuck in the house with them for 24 hours a day.

If you haven’t found a newfound respect for teachers by now, something is sincerely wrong.

They’re grossly underpaid, and they take care of our children for hours upon hours during the week. They don’t have the luxury of placing our loved ones in front of the television and simply walking off.

Now come on guys and gals. Be honest. Don’t act like you haven’t tried to use the television as a babysitter from time to time over the past week or so. It can get a little testy once that going to school at home thing is over for the day.

Either way, after a long morning and afternoon, we all need a getaway, and nothing holds both a child and an adult’s attention like the subtle nuances of a fine Disney film. If you’re an Eagles fan, you probably own a copy of Invincible. If not, this one can be streamed on the Disney Plus app.

That one’s a 2006 film depicting the life of Vince Papale. Mark Wahlberg plays the role of a 30-year-old Philly native and legend who made the roster after an open tryout by former Eagles head coach Dick Vermeil ignited the city. If you place the kids in front of the television for that one, it’s going to be hard not to sit down and share this one with them. Now, that’s what you call quality time.
