Miami Dolphins: DeVante Parker

Before DeVante Parker agreed to a new two-year contract before the start of last season, the Miami Dolphins wideout was actually one of the players some Eagles fans were hoping to see end up in Philadelphia to help fill the need at the position.

With Parker appearing to be part of a struggling Dolphins team over the years, a fresh start on a contender like the Eagles appeared to be the perfect opportunity to help bring out the best in the wideout.

Even if Parker is coming off a career year in Miami after catching 72 passes for 1,202 yards to go along with nine touchdowns, there’s still a chance the Dolphins end up experiencing another year of rebuilding in 2020.

After displaying these kind of numbers last season, it’s easy to understand why some Philadelphia fans were hopeful for Parker, but also this doesn’t mean they should lose hope over the possibility.

Depending on if the Dolphins would be open to exploring trade options involving Parker since the argument can be made his stock is at an all-time high, maybe the Eagles could get lucky with this dream target.

If not, well there’s always the chance of free agency next offseason once Parker’s contract is up.
