New York Giants: Jabrill Peppers

Just like the situation with the Cowboys, the chances of the New York Giants giving up one of their top players on defense in Jabrill Peppers seems highly unlikely, even if the Eagles were to make an intriguing offer.

But since every team needs to be discussed for this list, Peppers seems like the perfect candidate to choose from New York since a trade involving Saquon Barkley would never happen in a million years due to his potential.

In fact, Peppers is the perfect example of how teams could give up key players in trades early on in their careers after the Browns sent him to the Giants after two years as part of the Beckham deal before last season.

It’s not that Cleveland was unhappy with the way Peppers was playing since the Michigan product was a first-round pick in 2017 for a reason, but more so the chance to land Beckham was too good to turn down to upgrade the Browns on offense.

Peppers is clearly nowhere near the same level of impact that Jenkins was over the years with the Eagles, but at least he’s still young enough in which he still has plenty of time to continue working in that direction.
