Baltimore Ravens: Marquise Brown

Watching the Baltimore Ravens elevate their offense to new levels in 2019 thanks to a MVP campaign by Lamar Jackson was incredible to witness since this is a team that normally finds most of their success from the defensive side of the football.

Jackson didn’t exactly have the most consistent players in the passing game, but luckily between his running ability on top of a strong backfield led by Mark Ingram, the Ravens turned out to have one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL.

As for the receiving corps, one player who has the potential to have a bright future in Baltimore is Marquise Brown.

One year after trading back up into the first round to select Jackson, the Ravens realized the importance of building a better offense around their beloved quarterback, and used a 2019 first-round pick on the former Oklahoma star.

Once again, it seems highly unlikely that Baltimore would be willing to move on from a wideout with so much potential after only one season, but imagine the kind of impact someone like Brown would have on offense for Philadelphia.

Brown’s rookie numbers (46 catches for 584 yards with seven touchdowns) weren’t the most impressive in the world, but also keep in mind that most of the success on offense from the Ravens came on the ground.

If anything, this early experience for Brown is something to build from moving forward.
