The expectation for the Philadelphia Eagles in April’s NFL Draft is they’ll select a wide receiver at 21. Here’s a final ranking for everyone not named Jerry Jeudy, CeeDee Lamb, or Henry Ruggs III.

There were NFL mock drafts, and the Philadelphia Eagles, from a wide receiver’s standpoint at least, were linked to everybody from Laviska Shenault to Henry Ruggs III. Then, there was an NFL Scouting Combine that feels like it was six months ago. The aforementioned Ruggs ran the 40-yard dash in 4.2 seconds, and it appeared that any hope Philly had of landing him died at that moment.

March brought with it the frustrations of a global health crisis and an end to basketball at every level. Baseball called its season off shortly thereafter. Now, people are fearful that there will be no football. For now, we know that we’ll have an NFL Draft, and though it won’t be in Las Vegas, fans will have an opportunity to see this tradition we’ve come to expect in April continue.

For the Eagles, free agency was dominated by moves on the defensive side of the ball. Might the upcoming selection meeting be an offensive-minded one? One thing is certain. If the Eagles don’t draft a wide receiver at 21 or trade up to get one, the emotional health of the Eagles fan base will be pushed to its limit.

Let’s all hope that doesn’t happen. Here’s a final power ranking for every wide receiver prospect not named Jerry Jeudy, CeeDee Lamb or Henry Ruggs III.
