Brandon Aiyuk, Arizona State. 5. player. 854. . .

After racking up 65 snags for 1,192 yards with eight trips to the end zone, Brandon Aiyuk showcased a 40-inch vertical jump and ran the 40 in 4.5 seconds during the most recent NFL Scouting Combine. Place all of your prejudices to the side about Pac-12 receivers.

Aiyuk is the real deal.

4. player. 819. . . . Chase Claypool, Notre Dame

From now on, well for the next couple of years at least, whenever we watch an NFL Scouting Combine and we talk about prospects who have helped themselves, let’s all make sure that we bring up Chase Claypool. There were questions about him heading into Indy, and he answered every single one of them.

He figures to hear his name called in Round 2 as a result.

. Jalen Reagor, TCU. 3. player. 872. .

Jalen Reagor is one of those speed guys for any NFL team that may be interested in one. He ran a 4.47-second 40. He showcased a 42-inch vertical and followed that up with a 138-inch broad jump. NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein just compared him to Curtis Samuel in his draft profile. Is anyone interested yet?

879. . . . Tee Higgins, Clemson. 2. player

It’s almost maddening to know that Tee Higgins isn’t getting more love than he has been, but after running a 4.5-second 40-yard dash, NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein is now comparing him to A.J. Green in his draft profile of this six-foot-four and 216-pound prospect. Now, if that doesn’t get your attention, nothing will.

If by some chance Philly doesn’t get the guy they want (the top guy on this list) and they somehow wind up with Tee Higgins, that wouldn’t be a bad thing.
