817. Linebacker. K'Lavon Chaisson. 2. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. LSU

With all due respect to the other linebackers already discussed, if the Eagles have any shot at trading up from No. 21 in the first round to land a linebacker, K’Lavon Chaisson could be their best option to help fill the need.

After putting together an incredible season that resulted in winning the National Championship, LSU is expected to see plenty of their star players hear their name called on opening night of the draft from both sides of the football, including Chaisson.

To say Chaisson is one of the most explosive defenders from this year’s draft class would be a huge understatement after looking at his final season with the Tigers that resulted in 6.5. sacks along with 13.5 tackles for loss.

Despite the Eagles having one of the top defenses in the NFL over the last three seasons, Jim Schwartz could always use additional help, especially with the way the NFC East is shaping out to be for 2020.

On a positive note, if Chaisson does end up falling to the middle of the first round as expected at this point in April, Philadelphia may not have to give up as much pick wise compared to some of the other potential selections.
