Ladies and gentlemen, it appears that Yannick Ngakoue is at it again. Those rumors about him in a Philadelphia Eagles jersey aren’t going anywhere.

By now, your football lives have led you to the statement that the NFL is a quarterback-driven league thousands of times by now. It isn’t a strange coincidence that the teams who make the postseason and the ones who are in the hunt seem to have figured out what they want to do at the position. The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off of three straight postseason appearances for one reason.

They’ve gotten stellar play from not one but two signal-callers who have played at a high level when they absolutely had to do so. It’s the stuff good dramas are made of, but drama can come in other forms as well.

Some drama consists of infighting and disdain. Just take what’s going on with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Not even a full calendar year after Jalen Ramsey did all that he could do to leave, another of their key pieces on defense seems to want out as well. Their star defensive end, Yannick Ngakoue has made his stance very clear on social media. There have been tweets and Instagram posts, some of which indicate that he’d be very interested in joining the Eagles nest.

Philly’s most recent offseason has been full of theory and subplots. Don’t look now, but we appear to have another story concerning this proud franchise. Buckle up, ladies and gentlemen, we have a story to tell. How about a little three-act structure for effect?
