2. No one knows what to expect from Jeffery, Jackson in 2020

As amazing as it was to watch Philadelphia finish on top of the NFC East last season despite all of the major injuries at numerous positions, it’s difficult not to wonder how different things would have been with a healthier roster, especially at wide receiver.

When healthy, both Jeffery and Jackson have proven to be two of the top receivers in the league, which is why it was so frustrating to see each veteran deal with injuries throughout the 2019 season that resulted in the Eagles basically using practice squad members in the playoffs.

Heading into the 2020 season, Philadelphia seems confident enough that Jeffery and Jackson will be healthy enough to make the necessary impact in the passing game, but unfortunately there are no guarantees this will be the case.

The Eagles learned the hard way last year just how difficult it can be to overcome certain players dealing with injuries without the proper depth, and since Philadelphia failed to make any moves in free agency at wide receiver, the draft will clearly be their best option to upgrade.

Even if Philadelphia used their first pick on a receiver, and didn’t need to rely on them as much right away, at least having this kind of insurance would put the unit in better position than last season.
