1. Mims will most likely be available

As previously mentioned, the only way Philadelphia is going to have a shot at landing one of the top receivers from this year’s class in Lamb or Jeudy will most likely require the team to complete a trade to move up into the top 15.

Unfortunately, the Eagles aren’t the only team looking to take advantage of the strong wide receiver class from this year’s draft, and even though Mims has seen his stock rise in recent weeks, he is still expected to go late in the first round, at best.

In other words, if Philadelphia decides to hold off on the other prospects, and wait to see if Mims happens to be available at No. 21, chances are this will work out in favor of the Eagles.

Even if Philadelphia wanted to take the risk of waiting until Day 2 before selecting Mims, and focus on a different position in the first round, this seems like another scenario they will be in great position to pull off if they wanted to.

Of course, there is always the risk of another team in need of help at wideout ruining Philadelphia’s plans by selecting Mims on their own, but hopefully if the interest is really high for the Eagles, Howie Roseman will find a way to get his wideout.
