Could the Philadelphia Eagles find a way to trade up in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft?

Believe it or not, the 2020 NFL Draft is only a few weeks away, and after already making some key moves in free agency, the Philadelphia Eagles hope to fill a couple more needs at a few positions.

At the moment, the Eagles currently hold the No. 21 pick in the first round after finishing on top of the NFC East for the second time in three seasons before coming up short in the playoffs right away to the Seattle Seahawks.

One can only imagine how different the outcome of January would have been for Philadelphia if the roster was healthier, but at least the Eagles have plenty of reasons to believe they will continue to be a top contender in the NFC during the 2020 season.

Of course, this will be easier said than done since Philadelphia will be playing with targets on their backs as defending NFC East champions.

Not to mention, the argument can be made that all three teams within the division could give the Eagles plenty of trouble next season, so it will certainly be interesting to see how it all plays out.

But before jumping too far ahead down the road, the main focus for Philadelphia at the moment is the upcoming draft to determine which prospects will put the team in better position to potentially earn a fourth trip in a row to the playoffs.

As previously mentioned, the Eagles will officially be on the clock for the first time at No. 21 in the first round, but knowing Howie Roseman, there’s always the chance of Philadelphia trading up or down, depending on which prospects they are determined to land.

If the Eagles end up deciding they want to trade up to land someone who most likely won’t be available for the No. 21 spot, here are three realistic options that come to mind involving certain scenarios with players and teams.
