Here are eight wide receivers for every one of the Philadelphia Eagles’ eight draft picks in the 2020 NFL Draft. Yes, it’s an all-Eagles, all-wideout mock.

We’re talking about seven rounds and eight draft picks. We’re also talking about one of the most overused phrases from a football standpoint at this time of the year. It’s called the “biggest position of need”, and if you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan, that one seems to keep getting tossed around every three or four years, whether that be in the NFL Draft or the regular season.

Randall Cunningham never seemed to have wide receivers. Calvin Williams and Fred Barnett? Really? Donovan Mcnabb played his fair share of games without the benefit of legitimate targets, and it seems like we’re always talking about Carson Wentz needing someone to throw the ball to.

Here we are again, and wide receiver remains a huge talking point and hole for the “Birds”

Luckily, this draft class is loaded with them. Philly was scheduled to make ten selections in the upcoming selection meeting, but they traded both a third and a fifth-round selection (the 85th and 166th overall) to the Detroit Lions for Darius Slay. If the “Birds” don’t take a wide receiver at 21, there may be a riot in the fan base.

Let’s have a little fun. Here’s an all-Eagles, all-receiver mock. We begin at selection number 21.
