Sometimes, it’s not what someone says. Sometimes, it’s more important to people who said it. that could be seen as being doubly true if you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan. Doctors can say something to an individual. Elected officials and teachers can make the same statement, and every word can fall on deaf ears. Like it or not, in some circles, the words of professional athletes hold more weight in the minds of the general public, so when someone like Brandon Graham makes any type of statement, people tune in.
Thankfully, in the case of “55”, he normally has something wholesome to say.
As hard as it may be to believe, just looking out one’s front door will demonstrate that there are a few people who may not be taking “social distancing” or COVID-19 as seriously as they should. That isn’t to say anything negative about any of those people. Honestly, their potential reasons for doing so are understandable.
Some are working. Some just yearn for the company of friends or family. For others, being confined to their homes may be more of an adjustment than they’re used to. The desire to communicate with others makes total sense, but we all have to be as careful as we can.
We’re not out of the woods yet though, so whether you’ve been affected by any of this or not, continue to do what is necessary to maintain the safety of yourselves and your loved ones.
