Is a sweep of the NFC East out of the question? Nothing changes as each year passes by. As they always do, Philly’s got six games in their division to think about, including home and road dates versus the Washington Redskins, the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys to think about. Is a season sweep of all three out of the question?

Though Ron Rivera is family, his career choices have landed him on the sideline of one of the teams that the Eagles and their fans hate the most. The respect from Philly to “Riverboat Ron” is there, but don’t expect any pleasantries once either one of Philly’s two meetings with the Redskins kicks off.

Both games between these age-old rivals were tight a season ago. Both meetings will be tight in 2020, but at the time of this story being published, we don’t know if the Redskins are thinking about adding a quarterback in the draft.

That means, as of right now, it feels like Philly should sweep a team that may still be starting a signal-caller who’s too young to look so worn down, Dwayne HaskinsITI’s way-too-early prediction: The Eagles win both games by a touchdown or less.

There’s no need to dedicate a ton of attention to the Giants. This is a once-proud franchise that can’t seem to do anything right now. Yes, Saquon Barkley is amazing, but their general manager and coach aren’t.

No one fears Joe Judge, Jason Garrett, or James Bettcher, and Daniel Jones can be expected to take a step backward with a coaching staff that leaves much to be desired. ITI’s way-too-early prediction: The Eagles win both games by two touchdowns.
