A first-place finish in 2019 gets the Eagles a date with last year’s division winners in the NFC. Carson Wentz battles two future Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees in 2020. You know one of them as Aaron Rodgers. The other is the legend, Drew Brees. Will we see an official passing of the torch from to of the best to ever do it to Carson Wentz?

Let’s start with Rodgers.

It’s probably safe to assume that this will be a prime time or a featured game when it rolls around on the schedule. This one definitely lived up to the hype in 2019 as one of the featured contests of the NFL’s Thursday Night Football package.

Aaron Rodgers has typically had his way versus the “Birds” historically, and after losing to them in 2006, he’s racked up a 4-1 win-loss total since 2010, including a 21-16 win in a playoff game en route to a win in Super Bowl XLV.

Carson Wentz took care of business in a Herculean effort last September. He’ll need a similar type of performance if the Eagles are expected to make it two straight wins over the Packers at historic Lambeau Field. Unfortunately, it probably isn’t going to happen. ITI’s way-too-early prediction: Eagles 23, Packers 31
