1. Leonard would set career highs on Eagles with ease

While Leonard’s career high of rushing touchdowns (nine) came all the way back in 2017 when he was a rookie with the Jaguars, he did manage to set a new career high last year by rushing for 1,152 yards.

When taking into consideration these numbers could be viewed as somewhat disappointing for a running back with so much talent and potential like Fournette, but also keep in mind the results could have been much better if there was better talent in Jacksonville.

As crazy as it is to believe the Jaguars came pretty close to facing the Eagles in the Super Bowl a few years ago when they reached the AFC Championship, the previous two years have made it clear this team is still a work in progress.

If Jacksonville’s offense were more consistent over the last two seasons, and in better shape, Fournette’s numbers most likely would have been much higher.

But since the Jaguars appear to be heading towards another year of rebuilding, it seems unlikely that Fournette will be able to set new career highs on offense, especially if Jacksonville ends up trailing in most games.

At least if Fournette were part of the Eagles, the former Tigers star seems like he would have little trouble in setting new career highs across the board if he were to stay healthy since Philadelphia’s offense is in much better shape than Jacksonville, and it’s not even close.
