Here’s a guy who’s been mentioned in conjunction with the Eagles on more than one occasion. What’s strange is more often than not, Tee Higgins has been classified as some sort of a second option if whatever “Plan A” is for the team he winds up with doesn’t work out.

Pay no attention to the detractors. Higgins’ rare blend of size and speed is going to pay dividends in some offensive coordinator’s scheme. If that isn’t the case, something may be wrong with the scheme.

Everyone gets it. The 4.2-second 40 is amazing. Sure, everybody’s looking to add speed to the offense. That’s what a lot of the game is all about, but football is also about making contested catches, snagging a few catches in the red zone and outmuscling a few guys to create separation at the line of scrimmage.

We know that Henry Ruggs III is completely capable of being effective when it comes to catching the ball and being explosive in space; however, there isn’t a ton of film that’s going to prove the Eagles want to put him on the field in first-and-goal situations over Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert. That’s why Justin Jefferson edges him for the third spot on this list.
