123. Pick Analysis. K'Lavon Chaisson. 3. player. Scouting Report. Linebacker. LSU

Cornerback or wide receiver certainly seems like popular positions for the Cowboys to consider in the first round of the upcoming draft, but linebacker shouldn’t be ruled out either.

If all goes well on Thursday, LSU will see numerous players from both sides of the football hear their names called in the first round, including K’Lavon Chaisson.

Just like all of his other teammates with first-round potential, Chaisson played a key role in helping the Tigers win it all this past season, and this seems like another player with the ability to make an impact right away at the NFL level with the right team.

On paper, the Cowboys should once again have a top offense in 2020, but if their defense finds a way to reach new levels, this could turn out to be the main difference maker to be better off than other contenders in the NFC.

Thanks to his explosive style of play and quickness, one can only imagine how great of a fit Chaisson would be for the Cowboys’ defense to put the team in better position to finish on top of the NFC East for a third time in five seasons.

This will be easier said than done for Dallas, but at least a move like this would put extra pressure on Philadelphia from a competitive standpoint.
