. Jordan Fuller, Ohio State. 11. player. 812. .

Former Ohio State Buckeyes standout Jordan Fuller edges out Notre Dame’s Jalen Elliott for a spot right outside of this list’s top ten. Fuller tallied 62 tackles and two picks, and while Elliott managed two picks of his own, he only added 49 stops to his resume in 2019.

Elliott also ran a 4.8-second 40 at the combine, and that’s almost unforgivable. Fuller ran a slow 40 as well, but at least he wasn’t as close as Elliott was to knocking on the door of five seconds.

. Khaleke Hudson, Michigan. 10. player. 811. .

Khaleke Hudson is someone that you want on the field during the opposing offense’s running downs, but if he’s truly going to have a long career at the pro level, he’s going to have to learn how to help out in pass coverage.

He’s five-foot-eleven and 218 pounds, but he stuck his head in on 102 total tackles and two sacks. He’ll get some looks, but it may be late on Day 2 or sometime during Day 3.

Antoine Brooks, Maryland. 9. player. 824. . .

If you get past the fact that he’s only five-foot-ten, there isn’t much to dislike about where Antoine Brooks is at this point in his development. He has no problem with sticking his head in to make a tackle. He had 85 of those in 2019.  He’s also a better pass defender than the Hudson is.

He broke up five passes and pulled in an interception for the Maryland Terrapins as a going-away present to the fans in College Park.
