Former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Marqise Lee is on the free-agent market, and it’s time for the Philadelphia Eagles to finally make a move at a top-tier wide receiver.

Amid trade rumors surrounding star running back Leonard Fournette, the Jacksonville Jaguars have also announced that they are releasing 28-year-old wide receiver, Marqise Lee. He was someone everyone had an eye on as the Jaguars needed to make cap cuts ahead of the 2020 NFL Draft. That brings us to the Philadelphia Eagles.

After watching free agent after free agent get signed this offseason, the “Birds” are heading into the draft after having done absolutely nothing to address their wide receiver situation. Unless they’re happy banking on drafting a stud from the NCAA, this most recent move by the Jaguars is a gift from the football gods.

When healthy, Lee is a valuable asset that the Eagles could easily pick up for some reassurance before heading into the 2020 NFL Draft.
