Kenneth Murray is the top inside linebacker in the 2020 NFL Draft, but if you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan, aren’t you curious about where everybody else falls?

You’ve thought about this or read about this at least twenty times by now, but you’ll have to think about it again here. Kenneth Murray is the best inside linebacker in this year’s class. He’ll be long gone by the time the Philadelphia Eagles are on the clock at 21. There’s just one more thing.

Who’s to say that the Eagles would have even taken Murray anyway? The theories that they don’t value the linebacker position as the should have been the topic of much discussion, and half of the people on Planet Earth that are Eagles fans want them to select a wide receiver.

Here’s what we know about this draft class though. It’s loaded with wide receivers. Inside linebackers? Not so much.

Recently, Patrick Queen has seen his name associated with the “Birds”, especially now that analyst and Eagles superfan Colleen Wolfe named him as her selection in a recent mock draft that was put on by the NFL Network, but he’s actually an outside linebacker that they’d ask to play inside.

For that reason, we’ll leave him off of the list as well. Oh, and then there’s this. The Eagles haven’t taken a linebacker in Round 1 of any draft since 1979. It’s a lot to think about, isn’t it? Anywho, we know this Eagles team needs help at the second level. Let’s do some scouting. Let’s count down the ten best inside linebackers. Just for fun, let’s leave Kenneth Murray and Patrick Queen off of the list.
