819. . . . Tony Jones Jr. Notre Dame. 17. player

Love them or hate them, we can’t stop talking about the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame, probably because they’re on television every Saturday and they keep putting talent in the NFL. This season will be no different.

Make sure you bring up what Tony Jones Jr. did for the Notre Dame offense in 2019 the next time you’re having a conversation about how good Chase Claypool is.

In 2019, Jones racked up a six yards per rush average on 144 carries and scored six touchdowns in his final season right outside of South Bend, Indiana.

850. . . . Rico Dowdle, South Carolina. 16. player

It doesn’t seem like it, but it wasn’t that long ago when South Carolina Gamecocks were dominating the Clemson Tigers and worked their way into a top-ten preseason ranking. Then, the 2014 NCAA football season kicked off with a 52-25 loss to the Texas A&M Aggies at home and on national television.

The Gamecocks haven’t been the same since.

Now, Clemson rules the roost in the Palmetto State. South Carolina puts some decent recruiting classes together now and again, but if they’re going to pop in 2020, they’ll need to deal with the loss of Rico Dowdle who racked up 2,167 yards and 16 touchdowns in 39 career games. Good luck with that.
