3. Greg Ward

First off, Greg Ward deserves all of the credit in the world for the work put in down the stretch last season when Philadelphia was hurting big time in the passing game due to numerous key injuries.

Without Ward stepping up, chances are the Eagles would have missed out on the NFC East title, and watched the playoffs from home since the wideout came up big on numerous occasions.

Prior to the draft, Ward was considered the No. 3 option at wideout for the Eagles, but also with the team expected to take advantage of this year’s epic draft class at wide receiver, fans knew he could end up seeing some competition join the roster.

Not only did Philadelphia add another speedster in Reagor with their first pick of the draft at No. 21, but the Eagles also added two more wideouts on Day 3 with John Hightower and Quez Watkins.

Most likely, Reagor will be the one who gives Ward the most competition for the starting job as the No. 3 wideout on Philadelphia’s offense, but also nothing is set in stone.

If anything, Ward is familiar with overcoming obstacles to make a case for playing time, and will do whatever it takes to make a case for himself come training camp, despite the new talent at wideout.
