Dante Olson, Montana, linebacker

For those of you that may be unaware, Tim Hauck is the Eagles’ safeties coach, and he has a brother by the name of Bobby Hauck. Bobby is the head coach of the Montana Grizzlies and has been since 2018.

Maybe it was Bobby that put in a good word for the six-foot-two, 237-pound Dante Olson to Tim. It’s not like the young man needed a ton of help getting a few looks though.

He racked up just under 400 career tackles and was named as an FCS All-American in 2019. Keep an eye on him as we continue to discuss an Eagles team that places minimal value on the linebacker position but desperately needs help at the second level.

Raequan Williams, Michigan State, defensive tackle

It’s hard to imagine a scenario where former Michigan State Spartans star Raequan Williams works his way past Fletcher Cox, Malik Jackson, Javon Hargrave, and Hassan Ridgeway on the depth chart, but he was a Third-team All-Big Ten nod twice and finding his way onto Philly’s roster may give him a chance to audition for another team or make the practice squad.

He’s six-foot-four and tips the scales at 303 pounds, so we know he has nice size.
