Julian Good-Jones, Iowa State, guard

It’s nice to see that the Eagles are doing all that they can to strengthen the offensive line and keep Carson Wentz vertical. Though there’s always the argument that he only gets hurt when he leaves the pocket, no one will ever complain about adding youth to the front line of any offense.

There may not be a position on the offensive line that Julian Good-Jones can’t play. He figures to play guard at the next level. He’s spent time at the center position. He also earned First-team All-Big 12 honors while playing left tackle in 2019.

Luke Juriga, Western Michigan, center

Though Luke Juriga‘s natural position is center and that’s probably the position that he’ll play at the NFL level, he has spent some time at the guard position as well. We all know how much the Eagles coaching staff loves versatility. We all know that Jason Kelce isn’t going to play forever.

The starting lineup for Philly along the offensive line is set, but there’s always a need for depth. At six-foot-four and 294 pounds, Juriga provides that. He earned First-team All-MAC honors twice after starting every single one of his 52 career games at the collegiate level.
