5 reasons Philadelphia Eagles big winners from 2020 NFL Draft

1. Wentz gets three new speedy weapons at wideout
To say the Eagles were in desperate need of help at the wide receiver position during the draft would be a huge understatement when taking into consideration that Wentz was basically relying on practice squad members last season down the stretch.
Even if the argument can be made that Reagor shouldn’t have been the selection at No. 21, the speed he brings to the table along with ability to contribute on special teams should result in Philadelphia ending up with a reliable new threat to work with moving forward.
Also, just because Hightower and Watkins are joining what is now a crowded group of receives doesn’t necessarily mean the two rookies aren’t capable of making a strong case for a roster spot since every job beyond Reagor at No. 3 appears to be an open race.
If Wentz wasn’t happy before over the lack of speedy weapons to work with on offense at wide receiver, chances are the Eagles quarterback is beyond thrilled after this weekend due to all of the new talent added throughout the draft.
Three picks in one draft on the same position may seem like a bit much, but also shows how desperate Philadelphia was for help at the position.
