The wheels are really turning now. Here are several ideas to improve the Eagles’ offense and defense following the most recent NFL Draft.

Given the Philadelphia Eagles personnel decisions this off-season, the immediate question on quite a few minds has been along these lines. Now, that there’s been an intentional effort to add speed and athleticism, how might these new prospects be utilized in the offensive and defensive schemes to best utilize their talent?

The focus was the defense in free agency. This past weekend, Philly added a few more pieces to that side of the ball and some interesting enhancements to the offense.

Here are a few immediate questions. Will there be a greater emphasis on the running game? Miles Sanders and Boston Scott did display a dynamic one-two punch. Might we see Carson Wentz take a few more snaps under center? Will the play-action game and bootleg passing plays become a more prominent part of the gameplan as a result?

Might we see the addition of a relevant third running back who can pound the rock, or could Elijah Holyfield, fit that bill? There’s Corey Clement. Is he still a possibility? Will one of the undrafted free agent signings be a surprise? Philly can increase ball control. They can utilize more two-tight end formations, and with a healthy DeSean Jackson returning, don’t forget about the possibility of going deep. The possibilities are endless.

Let’s dig a little deeper.
