Philadelphia Eagles: Power Rankings for every Day 3 prospect taken
Driscoll was taken in the NFL Draft’s fourth round. Had a knee issue that Prince Tega Wahogho suffered in his final high school basketball not led to a redshirt in his first season at the collegiate level, there may not have been so much talk about his draft stock as we all approached the selection meeting.
Some had him as a Day 2 prospect and someone that could be taken in Round 3. As you all know, this six-foot-five, 305-pound tackle slid to Round 6. Don’t fret if you’re a “Birds” fan. To be honest, the questions about his knee have long been answered. He started all of his final 32 games with the Auburn Tigers after serving as a backup in his first ten.
That’s a nice resume for someone who came to the United States with the hope of being a basketball star. He may have to settle for being the next Jon Runyan or Jason Peters instead. Don’t be surprised if this young man eventually works his way into challenging Dillard for a starting spot.
The bad news is this. You also can’t be surprised if he doesn’t achieve that status either. Sixth-round draft choices are sixth-round draft choices for a reason.
