Don’t act like you haven’t already tried to guess. Here’s a way-too-early idea of what the Philadelphia Eagles’ final 53-man roster will look like.

A division title, a fourth-straight playoff appearance, and hopefully another Vince Lombardi Trophy to put on the shelf. Those are the goals for the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2020-2021 season. They’ve got the tools to make it happen. They have a coach in Doug Pederson that’s delivered the franchise’s first championship and has proven he can win despite injuries and whatever roadblocks ware thrown in his direction. They have a quarterback in Carson Wentz who has proven that he’s one of the game’s best and brightest.

That last point has been argued constantly though there’s no logical reason to argue against it. In 2017, he was the league’s most valuable player before suffering a season-ending knee injury. From the third game of the 2018 season to the conclusion of 2019’s version, he threw 48 touchdown passes and ran for four more while only throwing seven interceptions over that 27-game stretch.

Last year was his most impressive as he overcame criticism, a depleted roster, and at least two teammates that were out to get him, though we still can’t truly verify their identities (yeah right).

“11” will be back in 2020. We know that for sure. The free agency frenzy is over, So is the draft. We can now make a few guesses about what a real roster will look like, sort of. Don’t act like you haven’t already done it three times. Here’s a way-too-early prediction of who makes the final 53-man roster.
