Defensive tackle (4)

Fletcher Cox, Javon Hargrave, Malik Jackson, Hassan Ridgeway

This one isn’t going to change much between now and the time the Philadelphia Eagles step on the field to play some football that affects the win-loss tally. Fletcher Cox still lays claim to being one of this team’s best players and one of the top three interior defensive linemen in the game.

It’s probably safe to say that he’s a lock to make the roster.

His partner in crime last season was supposed to be Malik Jackson, but an opening day injury to Mr. Jackson took care of that. He’ll be back in the fold for the 2020 season and so will Hassan Ridgeway, who Philly signed to an extension just hours before the addition of one of their prized free-agent offseason acquisitions.

Maybe you’ve heard of him. His name is Javon Hargrave.

This may be one of the best defensive tackle rotations the Eagles have had in the Doug Pederson and Howie Roseman era, and they’ve had some good ones. Don’t worry about Jackson. He should be fine. He’s never had any injury concerns before last season, so we can expect for 2020 to be a bounceback year.
