4. Warren earns spot on 53-man roster
Over the years, Philadelphia has found plenty of success in signing undrafted running backs, whether it happens to be Clement from the year of the Super Bowl run or Josh Adams in 2018.
Time will tell when it comes to determining whether the Eagles strike gold with anyone from this year’s class of undrafted free agents, but one name certainly worth keeping an eye on is Michael Warren II.
Even though the Cincinnati product didn’t go in one of the seven rounds during the draft, his numbers with the Bearcats alone from the previous two seasons shows how this could turn out to be a potential steal.
Not only did Warren combine for 2,594 rushing yards in 26 games over the last two seasons, but the fact that he recorded 33 rushing touchdowns as well makes it easy to understand why Philadelphia decided to take the risk on the running back.
Warren matching these kind of numbers with the Eagles will obviously be a long shot, but even if he finds a way to make an impact when needed for Philadelphia as a result of earning a roster spot, this is all that would really matter for the offense throughout the 2020 season.
