Philadelphia Eagles: 1 Player from every NFL franchise fans would steal
Since being taken seventh overall in 2014’s NFL draft, Mike Evans has racked up more than 450 receptions, more than 7,000 receiving yards, and just under 50 trips to the end zone. That’s earned him an election to 2014’s PFWA All-Rookie Team and three elections to the Pro Bowl.
He’s one of the game’s best at his position. You have to take him if you have a chance.
Any running back would be proud to post 1,000 yards in a single season. Any wideout would be stoked about posting a 1,000-yard receiving season. What do we make of a man like Christian McCaffrey then? What do you say about a man that racks up both 1,000 yards rushing and receiving other than the fact that you hope the Carolina Panthers don’t kill him (and they’re surely wasting a lot of good effort on his part).
If he and Miles Sanders were both in the Eagles backfield, they’d be unstoppable.
The new talent that comes into the league every year makes you forget about the guys who have already made a name for themselves sometimes, especially when they play on losing teams, but name five guys that you can definitively state are better than Julio Jones at playing wide receiver.
You can’t, can you?
Yes, the New Orleans Saints have an embarrassment of riches as far as talent goes. It’s easy to say you’d take Michael Thomas or Alvin Kamara, but you can’t go wrong with interior lineman Larry Warford, especially when the conversation with Philly constantly revolves around depth in the offensive line’s interior.
Drew Brees doesn’t have time to throw to Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara doesn’t stack those rushing and receiving yards without this three-time Pro Bowler.
