Does Jalen Reagor have what it takes to earn Offensive Rookie of the Year honors with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020?

After months of speculation surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles focusing on wide receiver early on in the 2020 NFL Draft, the defending NFC East champions ended up going with Jalen Reagor at No. 21 following a phenomenal career at TCU.

Even if there was some disappointment over the Eagles missing out on CeeDee Lamb to the Dallas Cowboys or passing on Justin Jefferson before the LSU star ended up with the Minnesota Vikings the following pick, Reagor should bring plenty of excitement to the table right away.

Due to all of the injuries at wide receiver last season ranging from DeSean Jackson early on to Alshon Jeffery later in the year, Philadelphia realized the importance of adding some extra depth this offseason to avoid another situation like 2019.

And while the Eagles certainly didn’t mess around during the draft by selecting three new wide receivers for Carson Wentz to potentially work with, it’s safe to say that Reagor will end up being the most valuable.

In fact, even though the argument can be made that Reagor should be considered a long shot at the moment when it comes to taking home Offensive Rookie of the Year honors, anything is possible when it comes to the NFL.

Reagor beating out other early favorites such as Joe Burrow for the award will be far from easy, but to have a little fun to help pass the time this offseason, here are three reasons to believe one of the newest members of the Eagles could pull it off.
