What to expect from Philadelphia Eagles offensive rookies who aren’t WRs
Here’s a quick look at the undrafted guys who don’t play receiver.
Philly added several undrafted free agents post-draft, including cornerback Grayland Arnold, linebacker Dante Olson, and defensive tackle Raequan Williams. There are also three defensive backs, Michael Jacquet, Elijah Riley, and Prince Smith, and that’s just what they did on defense.
Here’s a quick rundown of everybody they added on offense and some reasonable expectations for what may happen for them in year one.
Julian Good-Jones, guard
Julian Good-Jones is an offensive guard who comes to the Eagles by way of the Iowa State Cyclones. It’s hard to imagine him beating out Seumalo, Brooks, Herbig, and Pryor, Opeta, and Driscoll for a roster spot.
Luke Juriga, center
After carrying one true center on the roster for most of the 2019-2020 season, Jason Kelce, the Eagles need to start thinking about life once he retires. Philly added Luke Juriga as an undrafted free agent, but like Good-Jones, it’s doubtful he makes the roster.
Adrian Killins, running back
Adrian Killins has a shot to make this team because Philly doesn’t have any real long-term options in the backfield past Miles Sanders and Boston Scott (if you feel like Scott is a long-term option). Killins’ speed will have him in the conversation, but his size may do him in.
He’s only five-foot-eight and 168 pounds.
Noah Togiai, tight end
Noah Togiai is a six-foot-four, 246-pound standout who should contend for Philly’s third tight end spot, but right now, it’s hard to imagine him beating out Josh Perkins.
Michael Warren II, running back
Michael Warren II is another running back that hails from Jason Kelce’s alma mater, the Cincinnati Bearcats. Working his way onto Philly’s roster won’t be easy, but it isn’t impossible.
