New York Giants: Week 7 (Home), Week 10 (Away)

Similar to the Redskins, the New York Giants are another team coming off a disappointing year in 2019, but could also emerge as a surprise contender in the NFC now that certain key players have extra experience under their belts.

While Saquon Barkley continues to make a case for working his way to being one of the league’s most dangerous running backs, whether the Giants have what it takes to live up to the hype in 2020 will fall on the shoulders of Daniel Jones.

Like most rookie quarterbacks, the Duke product struggled in numerous areas during his first NFL season after replacing Eli Manning as the starter, but also showed a ton of potential as well with numerous impressive performances.

Assuming Jones displays improvement during his sophomore campaign, New York could very well become one of the surprise contenders in the NFC, which could also cause some unexpected problems for the Eagles as well.

Philadelphia has certainly been fortunate to have their way with New York in recent years, but the Giants could shake things up if players like Jones find new ways to step up.

Plus, with New York recently putting together a successful draft, this arguably puts even more pressure on Philadelphia in regards to facing their rivals in 2020.
