By now, you’ve probably already gone through the 16 games on the Philadelphia Eagles’ schedule and identified potential wins and losses, but those “trap games” will kill you every time.

It’s official. “Birds” fans everywhere have gotten their hands on the Philadelphia Eagles schedule. They’ve thrown on their prognosticator caps. They’ve pulled out their pens and highlighters, and they’ve already made their predictions on which games will be wins and which games will be lost.

Hopefully, you, at least, have them with a winning record and winning their division.

Here’s what we’ve all known for a while. There are the usual six games versus those other three teams in the NFC East. There are eight games versus the members of the NFC West and the AFC North. There are two games versus two more teams that won their division in the National Football Conference, the New Orleans Saints and the Green Bay Packers.

It’s not going to be easy if Philly wants to get back to the playoffs, but it never is.

Here’s something to mull over when you’re arguing about this with your friends on social media. Those “trap games” are always a concern, and the “Birds” have had their measurements taken by a Tennessee Titans squad that wasn’t as good as it is now in 2018 and the lowly Miami Dolphins in 2019.

If they haven’t learned anything else, it better be this. Nothing is guaranteed, and if Philly falls asleep behind the wheel for any reason, their season might be sacrificed. ITI expert and editor Dan Parzych has already identified five games the Eagles can’t coast through. Here are their three most obvious potential “trap games” and why the “Birds” will lose if they fail to prepare properly.
