Philadelphia Eagles schedule 2020: 3 toughest non-divisional games
By Dan Parzych
The 2020 schedule for the Philadelphia Eagles shows the team will face plenty of tough competition outside the NFC East.
After months of waiting, the Philadelphia Eagles learned their 2020 schedule on Thursday, as all eyes will be on the defending NFC East champions to see if they have what it takes to earn a trip to the playoffs for a fourth year in a row.
From starting and ending the season against the Washington Redskins to facing the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16 for a second year in a row, the Eagles will certainly face plenty of tough challenge if they hope to finish on top of the division for the third time in four seasons.
However, Philadelphia will also be heavily tested outside of the NFC East as well since one of the downfalls of finishing on top of the division last season means they have to deal with a tougher schedule for 2020.
As important as the games within the division will be, the Eagles also realize the importance of coming through for the key battles outside the NFC East since they will face numerous teams with potential to make a Super Bowl run.
Does Philadelphia have what it takes to handle a cross-country road trip to defeat the defending NFC champions in the San Francisco 49ers?
Better yet, will the Eagles’ defense have enough fire power to keep Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in check when they come to town in October?
Time will tell when it comes to determining how the upcoming season will play out for Philadelphia during the 2020 season, but in honor of the schedule release, here is a look at the three toughest games outside the division.
