36. . . . Ezekiel Ansah. 3. player

Perhaps the Eagles fans and media should be spending more time talking about the other Seattle Seahawks defensive end from 2019?

Ezekiel Ansah is the former fifth-overall selection of 2013’s NFL Draft. He was a member of the Pro Football Writers of America’s All-Rookie Team that season and has earned a Pro Bowl nomination and a Second-team All-Pro nod since (2015), but no one mentions him among the game’s great defensive ends because he clearly isn’t the guy that he used to be or the guy most suspected he would be.

Even still, there are moments when he looks good. See his four-tackle, 1.5-sack performance versus the Eagles in Week 12 of 2019’s season.

Ansah isn’t going to be a guy that you’re going to want to trot out for more than 50 percent of the defensive snaps. Failure to heed that warning could result in seeing a guy who looks like he needs a week off, but if Philly’s looking for a bridge from 2020 to 2021, and they’re looking to rest Brandon Graham and Derek Barnett from time to time this coming season, Ansah might be that guy.
