1. Redskins end regular season in Philadelphia

While the Redskins certainly have plenty of reasons to be thrilled over the idea of kicking off the new season at home against the Eagles, Week 17 will be a different story.

Football fans have been fortunate enough to enjoy the benefits over the years of teams ending the regular season against a division rival with the hope of Week 17 having playoff implications.

Time will tell when it comes to seeing whether this will be the case for either team, but with the Eagles hoping to extend their playoff streak to four years in a row, this could result in bad news for the Redskins.

Just like every other team across the league, Philadelphia certainly has plenty to prove as far as continuing to be a top contender for the 2020 season is concerned, but at least the talent alone on both sides of the football makes it seem like they will be able to live up to the hype.

For obvious reasons, the Eagles would love nothing more than to already have the division title wrapped up down the road by the time their Week 17 battle with the Redskins rolls around.

But even if Philadelphia is still competing for the title when the time comes, at least facing Washington will most likely be easier to handle than Dallas.
