Here’s a ranking of every primetime game on the Philadelphia Eagles’ 2020 schedule based on importance, intrigue, and difficulty.

We’ve long known who the opponents would be. Now, we know the dates. The Philadelphia Eagles 2020 NFL schedule features the normal six games versus the rivals as well as eight games versus the four teams of both the NFC West and AFC North. Then, as if that isn’t tough enough, games versus two other division winners in the NFC have to be played as well. That means Philly gets the Green Bay Packers and the New Orleans Saints.

Philly’s got four nationally televised primetime games too. They get the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4, the hated New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys in Weeks 7 and 8 respectively, and the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12.

Every team’s schedule has been dissected at length, so why quit while we’re ahead? Let’s do it again here.

Just for kicks, here’s an initial opinion on how these games should be ranked in terms of intrigue (from an Eagles fan’s perspective) and their level of difficulty.

Take a look at these lists.

Ranking the games by their level of intrigue (to Eagles fans)

1. Dallas Cowboys (the team they’ll probably need to edge for the NFC East)

2. Seattle Seahawks (Can they finally beat Russell Wilson?)

3. San Francisco 49ers (the reigning champions of the NFC and a nice litmus test)

4. New York Giants (the hated rival who probably won’t be a factor)

Ranking the games by difficulty.

1. San Francisco 49ers (Again, they’re the standard in the NFC right now)

2. Seattle Seahawks (For Carson to be the man, he’s got to beat the man)

3. Dallas Cowboys (Beating the Cowboys is always doable but never a certainty)

4. New York Giants (Is the race on for the first pick in 2021?)

That was fun. Now, let’s rank all four games in order of importance. Here’s how things look.
