3 Reasons Jalen Reagor can break Eagles rookie all-purpose yards record
Imagine the possibilities
Philly’s got all of these new toys and offensive minds like Doug Pederson, Rich Scangarello, and Marty Mornhinweg. Reagor’s going to get a lot of opportunities while teams try to figure out who they should be trying to stop.
Over and over, you’ve heard the phrase “records are made to be broken”, but even though professional athletes will often show a little class and maybe throw out a tweet to congratulate the man that just knocked them off of the top of an all-time list, you have to imagine that these guys would like to enjoy being the cream of the crop for a while.
Sanders passing two Eagles legends in the record books shouldn’t be undersold. It’s not like any of this stuff comes easy. That’s why it normally takes a while for someone to come along and do all of the impressive things that we saw from “26” in year one, but records are made to be broken, even if they’re broken in consecutive years.
Sanders doesn’t have anything to worry about with the franchise’s rookie rushing record. That should be his for a while, but this Reagor guy is good, very good. He’s also versatile. Don’t be surprised if Sanders’ team record for all-purpose yards falls in Reagor’s inaugural season. Don’t be surprised when the first person that congratulates him is Miles Sanders.
