54. . . . Shareef Miller. 7. player

What can be said about Shareef Miller except for bad things? Okay, that was neither professional or necessary. To be honest, it wasn’t even funny, but things couldn’t have gone worse for Philly’s fourth-round selection in 2019 other than the fact that we can at least compliment him for staying relatively healthy.

Maybe that’s because he didn’t play any. Miller appeared in exactly one game in 2019, and on what amounted to only two special teams snaps, he didn’t register a single tackle.

None. Zero. Nothing.

During the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine, he showcased some athleticism. We all saw him score a 29.5-inch vertical and a 40-yard dash time of 4.69 seconds. In his draft profile, NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein compared him to Andre Branch and scored him with a draft grade of 6.10 which means he’s classified as someone who could be a “good backup who could become a starter”, but the six-foot-four, 254-pound Miller can’t just look like a prototypical defensive end. He has to play like one too.

So far, he hasn’t. The Eagles got nothing out of him in Year 1. Let’s hope that changes. Grade: F
