5 Philadelphia Eagles we ignore who could sneak onto their final roster
During the preseason in 2019, you can make a case that Daeshon Hall was the defensive MVP if that’s a thing people care about. Hall more than earned his spot on the roster thanks to great play and effort along with, well let’s be honest, playing versus the guys he was playing against when he was on the field.
Here’s what we know definitively about Hall. He’s deserving of a spot on an NFL roster, but he’s also raw. That’s why you have coaches though, and Philly’s defensive line coaches, Matt Burke and Nathan Ollie have a lot of work to do with these guys.
It’s still puzzling why the defensive line coach is also carrying the title of running game coordinator when you have Duce Staley and all of those consultants on offense, but that’s another story for another day.
For now, the Eagles have nine defensive ends if you count the new guys, Casey Toohill and Matt Leo. What else do we know past the fact that Derek Barnett and Brandon Graham are your starters though? Is Hall lightyears behind Shareef Miller, Joe Ostman, and Josh Sweat? We don’t know that he is, do we? Keep an eye on him as we move toward the regular season.
