Alshon Jeffery’s future with the Philadelphia Eagle has been one of the offseason headlines. What’s his legacy if his time is indeed up?

Believe it or not, Alshon Jeffery is still with the Philadelphia Eagles. Now, that could certainly change before the Fall, but as of now, after everything that has happened and even though his future has been in question, he’s still on Philly’s roster.

Some fans have yet to forgive him following the anonymous bashing of Carson Wentz if he was indeed the source. We’ll probably never know the answer to that, but vice president and general manager Howie Roseman has expressed publicly that Alshon knows what’s being said about him and that “17” wants to prove he’s a great teammate.

That didn’t stop Howie from drafting three receivers and trading for Marquise Goodwin though. Maybe that’s also attributable to injuries. Jeffery could be sidelined to start the season, and Jalen Reagor, John Hightower, and Quez Watkins will have a chance to prove themselves. Goodwin will have extra chances to build chemistry with Wentz when on-field practices resume.

Jeffery’s contract, injuries, and age make him difficult to trade, but there’s still a chance that he never plays another snap for the “Birds”.

If he doesn’t, how will he be remembered in Philadelphia? 2019’s run was dominated by injuries and rumors that left a bad taste in the mouths of fans and some of the media. Will that be final memory he leaves or will he be remembered for the good old days when he was a key part of the offense? Let’s attempt to answer both questions now.
