Ranking Philadelphia Eagles top 12 starting duos by their position
At this point in the offseason process, there are normally question marks at every position on every roster. That’s nothing to worry about. It’s May. There’s a long way to go before games are played, and there will be plenty of opportunities for teams to get better.
Fortunately, in the Eagles case, there are a few positions where things are just about as good as they can get. Look no further than what the Eagles have at tight end on the other side of the ball at defensive tackle.
How does having Fletcher Cox and the newly added Javon Hargrave starting at defensive tackle sound? Who do you block? How do you double-team either one? Who’s going to run the ball on this team? Maybe the Dallas Cowboys? Then again, when you think about it, that isn’t even a guarantee.
Cox and Hargrave, without even playing a game, have to be seen as a top-three best starting duo at defensive tackle. Throw in Malik Jackson, who can also play defensive end if necessary, and the Eagles have the best rotation at defensive tackle heading into 2020.
