There are several Philadelphia Eagles appear to have zero chance to make the roster.

Some say it’s too early to do so. Others will state that it isn’t fair to attempt to evaluate talent without the benefit of rookie minicamps, voluntary minicamps, or mandatory minicamps. For the Philadelphia Eagles and the rest of the 31 NFL franchises, training has been limited to Microsoft Teams, virtual teaching for the guys on the roster, and virtual workouts.

Still, if everyone from the die-hard Eagles fans to members of the media has, at some point, fixated their imaginations on what the final version of the Philadelphia Eagles might look like once we’re ready to begin the 101st season of NFL football in September.

Some names we can pencil in with confidence, Carson Wentz, Fletcher Cox, Rodney Mcleod, Zach Ertz, Darius Slay, and Dallas Goedert for example. Others belong to guys who are less certain to make the roster. Others still belong to guys we can probably factor out of the thought process.

What follows is a list of five guys who probably have no shot at making the Eagles roster.
