1. Don’t forget about the playmakers the Philadelphia Eagles have on “D”.

There are also the two linebackers the Eagles brought in during the draft, third-round selection Davion Taylor out of Colorado and the local product, sixth-rounder Shaun Bradley out of Temple. They’re both more “dash” than “crash”.

Bradley, a three-year starter at the collegiate level, is slightly undersized but possesses decent coverage skills and agility. He can also contribute on special teams. Taylor is rawer with less experience, but he has rare speed and explosiveness for a linebacker. Both very good open-field tacklers. There’s no reason to fear anything if you’re an Eagles fan.

There’s also safety K’Von Wallace of the Clemson Tigers. The Eagles took him in the fourth round, and he figures to be a steal. Even Eagles legend Brian Dawkins has taken notice. Wallace made his name cracking skulls, but despite the fact that there were theories stating his speed is why he wasn’t drafted higher, he’s quicker than he’s given credit for being.
