Philadelphia Eagles tale of the tape: Freeman’s measurements and numbers
Devonta Freeman is a five-foot-eight, 206-pound, and six-year veteran who cut his teeth with the Florida State Seminoles and hails from West Little River, Florida.
In 40 career games with the ‘Noles, his ability to affect both the passing and running game became evident early as he ran his way into the hearts of Florida State fans with 2,255 yards on 404 career rushing attempts, 475 yards on 47 snags, 30 touchdowns as a runner, and another trip to the end zone as a receiver.
The skills that made that run possible translated to the NFL nicely. In 82 career games with 64 career starts (those numbers include the playoffs), Freeman racked up 4,207 yards on 1018 carries, another 2,212 yards on 273 receptions and 48 total trips to the end zone.
Most importantly, with Freeman in the lineup, the Atlanta Falcons have gone 42-40 with him in the lineup. That includes a 3-2 record in five career playoff games. Here’s how “Shady” has done in his career.
