Potential Philadelphia Eagles prospect Landon Dickerson – “The Tide”

Whenever anyone is scouting NFL talent, it’s never a bad idea to take a look at the Alabama Crimson Tide’s depth chart. They routinely field guys that are headed for NFL stardom, but the recruiting wars don’t always end when those letters of intent are signed. Sometimes, the war for talent is just starting.

Just ask the Florida State Seminoles who watched Landon Dickerson trade his address in Tallahassee for one in Tuscaloosa as this six-foot-six, 308-pound graduate transfer moved from the ACC to the Southeastern Conference and earned an All-SEC nod in 2019.

He’s one of the guys that make the conversations about short quarterbacks come around more frequently. It’s hard to see over him once he snaps the ball and stands up. If we’re putting things in perspective, he’s three inches taller than Jason Kelce and almost 30 pounds heavier. He does possess nice athleticism for his size as he demonstrated great value for “The Tide” in both the running and passing game.

Keep an eye on him. It’s hard to hide great talent on Alabama’s roster, and this is an all-but-certain riser in 2021’s draft that could have pro scouts and college football scouts watching every snap that he’s a part of.
